Why Affirmations Work?

As soon as you resolve to have a positive change in your life, you would have made your first affirmation. The more you are willing to accept a change in your reality and to release the old flawed patterns, the better affirmations will be effective in your life.

When you choose to think and say the positive affirmations, you are actually reprogramming your subconscious. By choosing to think and say positive affirmations as true, you are replacing erroneous beliefs. Our thoughts create our reality. What we focus on comes true.

There is tremendous power in repeating the thought of something you want repeatedly. Repetition firmly implants the idea of what you want to create in your subconscious, and it goes about bringing you what you think about. Affirmations are positive thoughts that are repeated over and over and these thoughts go straight into your subconscious where they begin to manifest as your reality.

In a nutshell, affirmations help to re-program your thought patterns and replace dysfunctional beliefs.

Having said this, it is crucial for you to be aware of your thinking patterns. Consider that the bulk of our thought patterns is built from childhood and that some of our negative thoughts may come from being around people whose fears and doubts amplify our own.

Large groups of people generate powerful thought forms that may affect your thinking. Suppose, at a time when people are fearful about the downturn of the economy and high inflation and if you find yourself worried about it, there is a high possibility that you may be unconsciously tuning in to these fears and responding to them as if they were your own. So, if you are aware of this, place a positive thought alongside this fear. Your challenge is to keep your thoughts positive and not be affected by what the crowd thinks or says. Your beliefs create your reality. Your reality operates the way you think it does. You can change what you believe and thus change what you experience.

Work on expanding your thinking. Infinite thinking expands your possibilities and allows you to be all that you can be. In order to improve your life, first believe that there is always something better that exists. Start by at least believing that circumstances could be better and that they could be changed.

Your thought forms are energy and you are broadcasting energy all the time. This transmission acts like a mirror which allows to experience fulfilling realities when your thoughts are positive and uplifting. Similarly, the opposite can also happen when your thoughts are of gloom and doom. Repeated positive affirmations create your positive reality.
